A Family
Everyone
wants to talk with, pray with, and fellowship with someone that knows
who they are and where they are at. In many cases people go to brick
and mortar church buildings to hear a sermon preached and then leave
without a word spoken by or to them personally.
My hope as the
leader of On The Line Ministries is to have this become a website where
people can share in fellowship with others in the body of Christ. So I
want to invite you to be a part of our small group Bible studies.
These
Bible study groups will use Skype to connect everyone in the group. If
you don't want to share your webcam video with the group that's ok. You
can still be on the video chat with just a profile picture. That way if
you are having a bad hair day you can still talk with the group!
There
will be one leader per group with up to 9 other members in each group.
I would encourage you to attend the online meetings of your group as
often as possible since these people will become your friends and will
no doubt miss you if you are not there.
About
Our Teachers
Below
are some introductions from our teachers. Each one has agreed to teach
what is in the Bible and come together in the same doctrine. Since the
Bible says we should all speak the same thing we will do all we can to
make sure each teacher follows the truth in scripture.
If
there is a questionable doctrine all of the teachers and myself will
come
together to discuss the matter and come together with one doctrine.
During that time we may be silent in teaching our personal views (right
or wrong) until we have searched out the matter together. That is the
balance and check system we will use to make sure the teaching from
this site is pure.
If you would
like to teach a small group -
The hope is to have at least one small group meeting every hour of a 24
