We have established the authority of God and the Bible in Unit 1. Now we can begin to examine the basic doctrines found in the Bible. After coming to know that there is a God, and that this God is the God of the Bible, we now need to learn what He commands.
Hebrews 9:27
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
It is obvious that God created everything. But, it is equally obvious that all things pass away. People are born and they die. Plants grow and then wither. Even inanimate objects like bricks used to build great castles crumble into powder.
In this unit, we will learn about sin and judgment. We will discover the reason behind all of this. We will learn how things went wrong in the garden, what the result of it was, and what God is doing about it. This unit will help you to understand why God will judge the world. You will even understand why there is a place called Hell and the Lake of Fire.
